Stephen Conover

Early in my career, I learned something that’s guided me ever since: having the best technical product in the world means nothing if you can’t tell the right story to the right customer.

I’ve spent my entire sales career working alongside technical experts, engineers of all specializations, and industry leaders from aerospace to electronics. My passion for learning and my deep appreciation for engineering have taken me across the technical spectrum with a wide variety of technical products, from fighter jets to lunar landers. Along the way, I’ve served world-class organizations including Raytheon, NASA, DOE, Bechtel, Moog, BAE, General Atomics, Lockheed Martin — closing high-value deals and consistently exceeding targets.

These experiences have shaped a career built on customer excellence, collaborative partnerships, and a relentless focus on delivering measurable results.

I started Conover Solutions because I’ve seen too many founder-led companies struggle to sell — not because their products lack quality (quite the opposite), but because they don’t know how to engage customers in a way that leads to closed business. Sometimes it’s a lack of time, sometimes it’s a lack of strategy, but the result is the same: missed opportunities.

My mission is to bring proven enterprise sales strategy and structure to startups and growing technical teams — helping them shorten sales cycles, win major accounts, and build sustainable revenue growth. Because I’ve seen what happens when great ideas get the right champion, and I’m here to make sure more of them succeed.
